If you're switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend following these steps. First, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. Your dog can get used to this for two days. Then, feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It's important to let your dog get used to this for two or three days as well. Then, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. Your dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Continue this for two days. After this, you can switch to 100% Yourdog Swiss White Shepherd dog food at your own discretion.
Storage advice After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and flavor. Therefore, it's important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight container or barrel in a dry, cool, and dark place. It's best not to put the food loose in the barrel, but to place the entire bag inside, sealing it as tightly as possible.

To make our food, we dry-cure 10.6 kg of meat for a 12 kg bag, making it easier to incorporate into our kibble. With the right amounts of vegetables, fruit, and herbs, Yourdog is a healthy, nutritious choice for your dog.
Buffalo
At Yourdog, we use meat from free-raised, grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh flavor and rich color, and it's packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is packed with health benefits.
Poultry

Glucosamine
Glucosamine is a naturally occurring substance found in joints, cartilage, synovial fluid, and tendons. It stimulates the production of cartilage and keeps joints supple.
Glucosamine is one of the most commonly used supplements for dogs with osteoarthritis and/or joint problems. This is not only the case for older dogs or overweight dogs, but also increasingly for younger, very active dogs. This can be due, for example, to a hereditary predisposition to joint problems. For these and other reasons, glucosamine is added to our dog food.
Apple The apple tree is a tree in the Malus genus, which produces the eating apples, which are particularly common in the Northern Hemisphere. It grows in temperate regions.
Dietary fiber has a versatile effect in the digestive tract. It absorbs moisture, making stool soft and smooth. Dietary fiber also increases intestinal volume. This not only stimulates intestinal function but also ensures thorough elimination of waste.
Apples are packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber. They're also rich in pectin. Pectin is a soluble fiber that helps support healthy gut flora. It also contributes to the palatability of the chunks, and apples are low in calories.

Banana The banana plant grows in tropical regions where temperatures do not drop below 10 degrees Celsius. There are even indications that the banana was cultivated in New Guinea approximately 7,000 years ago. The name derives from the word Œbanaana in the language of the Wolof people.
Bananas are rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C, and B11 (folic acid), as well as the minerals potassium, magnesium, iron, and zinc.
