Buffalo
At Yourdog, we use meat from free-raised, grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh flavor and rich color, and it's packed with vitamins and minerals. With lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, this tender meat is packed with health benefits.

Fenugreek
Like peas, fenugreek is a plant in the legume family. It is also called fenugreek or "Greek hay." It originates from Mesopotamia and was already known in the Mediterranean region in ancient times. Today, fenugreek is also cultivated in Central Asia.
Fenugreek is rich in iron and copper. It contains saponins and coumarins, which can help with vein problems. It also has anti-inflammatory properties (a natural anti-inflammatory) and promotes bile production. We can add fenugreek to your food to prevent arthritis, asthma, and skin problems. At Yourdog we use tomatoes at a culinary level, considering tomatoes as a vegetable. Tomatoes are rich in nutrients, low in calories, and have a high soluble fiber content, which aids digestion. Tomatoes also contain lycopene, which gives them their red color. The redder a tomato, the more lycopene it contains. Besides giving tomatoes their red color, it's also known as a powerful antioxidant. Research has shown that lycopene can protect against cancer and cardiovascular disease, among other things. Tomatoes also contain high levels of vitamin C, vitamins A, and B complex vitamins, which can contribute to healthy skin and a stronger immune system.
Tomatoes are added to our dog food because they may contribute positively to preventing breed-specific problems related to digestion, skin, vision, and cardiovascular disease. They can also have a general cleansing effect on the body.
Raspberries The raspberry is a plant in the rose family and belongs to the Rubus genus. Raspberries have been cultivated since the Middle Ages and are native throughout Europe.
Raspberries contain many nutrients that can support your dog's health, such as vitamins like vitamin C, minerals like manganese, and antioxidants. Furthermore, raspberries are low in sugar and calories and rich in beneficial fiber.
Raspberry is added to our dog food for its anti-inflammatory properties and can contribute positively to immune system function. Raspberries can also help maintain vision and a healthy cardiovascular system.
Puppy, adult or senior? To help you make the right choice between our Galgo Español dog food options, you can use the following guidelines. If your Galgo Español is under 11 months old, choose the Puppy option. For a Galgo Español over 7 years old, we recommend the Yourdog Galgo Español Senior. If your dog is over 11 months old but under 7 years old, you can choose the Adult option.

Switching advice If you're switching to Yourdog from another food brand, we recommend following these steps. First, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. Your dog can get used to this for two days. Then, feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old dog food. It's important to let your dog get used to this for two or three days as well. Then, mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. Your dog is now almost completely switched to Yourdog. Continue this for two days. After this, you can switch to 100% Yourdog Galgo Español dog food at your own discretion.
Storage advice After opening the Yourdog packaging, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture, and light, which can affect its shelf life and flavor. Therefore, it's important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight container or barrel in a dry, cool, and dark place. It's best not to put the food loose in the barrel, but to place the entire bag inside, sealing it as tightly as possible.

Energique for adult dogs can be fed from the age of approximately 10 months (small and medium breeds) to 12 months (large breeds).
For every 5 kg of body weight, feed approximately 100 grams per day. Young dogs, up to 1 to 2 years old, eat more than a fully grown adult dog. This is an average, depending on the dog's activity level. A dog that is active outdoors all day has different nutritional needs than a dog that stays indoors and takes three walks a day.
