Proper nutrition from the start is crucial for the rearing, growth, and production of laying hens. The birds' needs depend heavily on their developmental stage and whether the hens are laying eggs. Therefore, Kasper Faunafood offers a range of feeds that, when used correctly, promote good rearing and subsequent egg production. Feed intake depends on the breed and age, but especially on the size (weight) of the hens. The following schedule can be used for various laying percentages.
Complementary feed for poultry. To be provided in addition to a complete feed, up to 25% of the daily ration, preferably scattered to stimulate foraging. Recommended for chickens of all breeds.
