Properties per ingredient: Hops (Humulus lupulus) contain flavonoids, tannins, phenolic acids, and estrogenic compounds. Hops have an anaphrodisiac (sexual-drive suppressant) effect. Traditionally, hops were used to treat irritability and arousal.
Milk thistle (Carduus marianus) has a positive effect on liver function. In Chinese medicine, the reproductive organs and the associated (intense) emotions can be traced back to liver energy. This is particularly true for increased arousal caused by the proximity of bitches in heat, cats in heat, or nurses.
Vitex agnus castus (Agnus castus) The Dutch name for Vitex agnus castus, "vitex agnus castus," refers to the medieval monks' custom of chewing the dried berries to reduce sexual drive and thus better fulfill their vow of celibacy. The Latin name "Agnus castus" also suggests an influence on libido, as it is a combination of the Latin "castitas" (chastity), the Greek "agnos" (pure), and the Latin "agnus" (lamb). Vitex agnus castus contains antioxidants and flavonoids.
Marjoram (Origanum majorana), a dilution of which is the standard remedy for increased libido. It also promotes healthy prostate function.
Dosage and use: Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor or therapist, 1-2 times a day:
Dog 5-10 drops
Cat 3- 5 drops
Rabbit 3-5 drops
1 ml = 20 drops
The product can be administered directly into the mouth or with a little water using a plastic spoon or syringe. Alternatively, it can be dripped onto a treat. Give PUUR Sekssdrift at least half an hour before or after eating, so it can be absorbed by the cleansed lining of the mouth.
The treatment duration is 3-6 weeks.
The medication should take effect after about 3 days to a week. If there's no noticeable effect, the dosage can be increased up to a maximum of double the recommended dose.
PUUR Sekssdrift can be used safely in combination with other medications. In rare cases, a harmless and short-lived worsening of symptoms may occur at the beginning of taking the drops. This indicates that the animal is responding strongly to the medication. If this worsening is bothersome, you should halve the recommended dose for your animal or skip a dose. If you believe you have noticed a side effect, please report it to your veterinarian or therapist.
Advice for use
Consult your veterinarian if you suspect prostate problems. Symptoms include drops of blood from the penis and excessive straining during defecation. Also consult your veterinarian if there is no improvement after three weeks. Avoid contact with bitches in heat, cats in heat, or does as much as possible.
Treatment duration
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can range from a few days to three weeks. Continue administering this product for a few more days if there is improvement.
For prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is usually half the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully monitor your animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary initially; this product can be safely administered at double the recommended dose. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dose.
This product can be administered continuously. It is recommended to have a week off every 6 to 8 weeks. This way, the "stimulant" can be offered again after the week off. Resume treatment immediately if necessary.
Save
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product in a dry place at a temperature between 5-20°C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date is stated on the label and box.
