Pure Nature Matatabi

    Description

    Pure Nature Matatabi 2 pcs
For the restless cat. For multi-cat households.

    Complementary pet food for cats

    Compound:
    2 Matatabi sticks

    Indication(s):
    For the cat with:

    • Aggressiveness
    • Uncleanliness
    • Destructiveness (scratching furniture)
    • Lots of meowing
    • Licking oneself a lot / or pulling out hair (hairballs!!)

    For the frustrated cat.

Matatabi offers distraction in certain situations such as during a trip or move, after expanding the family or staying in a boarding house or at the vet.

    Properties per ingredient:
The Matatabi tree is related to the kiwi tree and grows in Asia, particularly in China and Japan. The dried twigs of this tree have a very special effect on cats. They contain a substance that cats find palatable, relaxing, and sometimes even mildly hallucinating.

Matatabi contains actinicin and matatabi lactone. These are alkaloids with a mild chloroform- or alcohol-like effect that influence nerve stimulation in the brain of Felidae.

It is often observed that cats that are naturally relaxed and at ease are less interested in the sticks than cats that are tense.

    Dosage and application:
You can give Matatabi as a toy. Cats play with the stick; some chew on it or even bite it to pieces.

Many cats will roll and rub on areas where the stick or its remains have been.

If the bark is removed from the stick, the effect is even greater.

Side effects: There are no harmful side effects. Some cats can react quite unusually to the sticks. Some owners have reported that their cat seemed "ecstatic" with pleasure, and some cats also drool (lightly). This is harmless.

    Dosage:
Don't give it more than two to three times a week, otherwise, habituation will develop and the sticks will become less appealing. Remove the stick as soon as the cat has finished playing.

    Remark:
If combined with medication, consult a veterinarian first. If problems occur, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.
