Pure Nature Pseudopregnancy False Pregnancy

    Description

    Pure Natural Pseudopregnancy (Pseudopregnancy) 50 ml
    For mood swings and discomfort during and after the heat/cycle in dogs and rabbits.

    Complementary pet food for cats, dogs, rodents.

    Compound:
    Extracts of common sage (Salvia officinalis) and oat (Avena sativa). Diluted extract of asafoetida (Asa foetida). Alcohol 29% v/v.

    Indication(s):
    For optimal hormonal balance in the bitch and to prevent various types of false pregnancy behaviour.

    Although many of our dogs bear little resemblance to wild wolves in appearance, the essence of much canine behavior has remained the same as that of their wild ancestors. One of these legacies is that many modern domestic dogs, even though they don't live in a pack and there's no alpha female to assist with lactation (the original purpose of pseudopregnancy in the wolf pack), exhibit the same pseudopregnancy behavior.

    Often, the first thing we notice is that bitches start to behave differently after they go into heat. In fertilized animals, progesterone levels begin to rise from that period, and the same happens in unfertilized bitches experiencing a false pregnancy. After giving birth, these progesterone levels drop again, and the hormone prolactin stimulates milk production. This hormone also influences the behavior of bitches.

    Many bitches experiencing false pregnancies withdraw, or even try to run away, become snappy, eat less, and are less likely to go outside. Other bitches become annoyingly clingy or very squeaky.

    Some bitches even seek out surrogate children and drag anything that could be considered a puppy, such as socks, slippers or toys, back to their 'nest'.

    False pregnancy can be a very unpleasant period for both the bitch and the owner.

    Pure pseudopregnancy normalizes the bitch's abnormal behavior during this period.

    Properties per ingredient:
    Relaxing for inner turmoil and against discomforts surrounding heat.

    Common sage (Salvia officinalis) reduces mammary gland congestion.

    Oats (Avena sativa) has a relaxing effect on inner unrest.

    Devil's dung (Asa foetida) is calming and helps with mood swings. It promotes good mental balance.

    Dosage and application:
    Unless the doctor or therapist prescribes otherwise 3 times a day:

    Dog: 10-15 drops
    Rabbit: 3-5 drops

    1ml = 20 drops.

    The product can be administered directly into the mouth or with a little water using a plastic spoon or syringe. Alternatively, it can be dripped onto a treat. Give PUUR False Pregnancy at least half an hour before or after eating, so that it can be absorbed by the clean oral mucosa. Begin administering PUUR False Pregnancy at the end of the heat cycle and continue using the product until the false pregnancy would normally have ended. In cases of very heavy false pregnancy, it may be advisable to start using PUUR False Pregnancy during the heat cycle. If PUUR False Pregnancy is administered when a bitch shows signs of false pregnancy, the product should take effect after approximately 3 days to a week. If no effect is observed, the dose should be increased to a maximum of double the recommended dose.

    PUUR False Pregnancy can be used in combination with other medicines without any problems.

    In rare cases, a harmless and brief worsening of symptoms may occur at the beginning of taking the drops. This indicates that the animal is responding strongly to the medication. If this worsening is bothersome, you should halve the recommended dose for your animal or skip a dose. If you believe you have noticed a side effect, please report it to your veterinarian or therapist.

    Directions for use: Begin administering PUUR False Pregnancy at the end of the heat cycle. Rabbits should be given PUUR False Pregnancy as needed.

    Treatment duration
    In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can range from a few days to three weeks. Continue administering this product for a few more days if there is improvement.

    For prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is usually half the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully monitor your animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary initially; this product can be safely administered at double the recommended dose. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dose.

    This product can be administered continuously (rabbit). It is advisable to include a week's break every 6 to 8 weeks. This way, the stimulus can be offered again after the week's break. Resume treatment immediately if necessary.
