Vitamin A: plays an important role in the cell division of epithelial cells and has a positive effect on eye function, growth and reproduction.
Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12: The B vitamins are important for energy metabolism. They are involved in many reactions related to converting food into energy (e.g., the citric acid cycle, glycolysis, and oxidative phosphorylation). They are also important in other reactions involving the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats, and amino acids. The B vitamins are also important for the functioning of the nervous system. Skin, hair, and mucous membranes improve in condition with the use of B vitamins.
Vitamin C: activates the immune system and is important for collagen formation in tendons and ligaments. Although most animals can produce it themselves, a deficiency can occur under certain circumstances.
Vitamin D: regulates calcium and phosphorus levels in the blood by promoting absorption from food in the intestines. It also ensures the reabsorption of calcium and phosphorus in the kidneys. It promotes bone formation and mineralization and stimulates the immune system. It can be produced by the body through exposure to sunlight. Horses that spend a lot of time in stables may be deficient.
Vitamin E: has antioxidant properties, protecting unsaturated fatty acids from free radicals. It has a positive effect on blood vessels, prevents blood clots, improves blood circulation, and strengthens capillary walls. The optimal dosage is once a day
Dog > 25 kg 4 scoops
Dog 10-25 kg 2½ scoops

If administering this product multiple times a day is difficult in practice, once a day or once every two days is sufficient. In that case, administer the maximum daily dose. This product is still effective, but the response may take a little longer.

Advice for use
To maintain optimal resistance, it's essential that an animal receives all the necessary vitamins and minerals in sufficient quantities. In autumn, for example, many dogs—just like humans—experience a slight decline in their immune system due to the change in weather and the transition from their summer to winter coat. To prevent an animal from becoming susceptible to illness, a good vitamin and mineral supplement can be given preventatively. PUUR Vitamins and Minerals contains a balanced composition of all the necessary vitamins and minerals and is an excellent supplement to supplement food, for example, for older dogs or puppies. It can also be used very effectively as an extra boost after recovery from illness, for example. Contrary to popular belief, vitamin and mineral supplements must be administered for an extended period. A single "vitamin shot" via syringe, as is often recommended, has little effect, especially not in the long term. The body needs time to recover and to absorb all vitamins and minerals in sufficient quantities, and that cannot be achieved in one day!
Treatment duration
In an acute situation, the treatment duration is relatively short. It can vary from 2 to 6 weeks. Continue administering this product for several more weeks if there is improvement.
For prolonged discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is usually half the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully monitor your animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary initially; this product can be safely administered at double the recommended dose. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dose. This product can be administered continuously.
