The Trixie Reptiland Desert Sand Terrariums Red 5 kg is a completely natural, fine-grained substrate for terrariums, free of dyes and additives. This original African substrate consists of homogeneous, fine-grained desert sand, a perfect substrate for desert reptiles. This sand creates a very natural habitat and encourages natural behavior, such as burrowing and egg-laying. The sand conducts heat well and is therefore also suitable for use with heat mats, heating cables, and other UTH substrates. The substrate is easy to clean by scooping out feces with a scoop.
